Souper Bowl XIV, benefitting the UW-Madison chapter of Habitat for Humanity, raised over $25,000. Twelve hundred people attended the event. UW Credit Union was a sponsor, and credit union employees volunteered their time. Thank you to everyone who came out to support this great cause.
Our Capitol Square and University Avenue branches will be displaying desks as part of the Desks of Dreams program. The program benefits Emerson Elementary School's Individual School Endowment, which awards grants to teachers for original educational projects that are outside of the core school budget. Transformed by artists and students, desks will be auctioned off at Emerson Elementary School on Tuesday, May 18, at 6:00 p.m.
Three positions are open for three-year terms on the Board of Directors. Vote through Web Branch or by paper ballot by April 25. Election results will be announced at our Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 27, at 6:00 p.m.
We're a sponsor of the UW-Madison All-Campus Party, April 17-23. The All Campus Party features no-cost, no-alcohol events created by students, including the Badger Blowout concert and Spring Football Game.
