Skip the Waiting—Instant Issue Debit Cards Make it Possible
UW Credit Union became the first financial institution in Dane County to offer flat, instant issue debit cards. The flat cards have the same function as traditional debit cards; however, they do not have the embossed characters of traditional debit cards. The cards are ready for use immediately when they are issued and eliminate the waiting period of mailing the card and PIN.

By January of 2009 all UW Credit Union branches will have the instant issue software and flat card printers.
If you have a lost or damaged card, you can save time replacing your card by receiving a new card immediately. Flat cards also offer the ability for immediate PIN selection, something that used to require a separate trip to a branch.
