Wire Transfers
Moving money almost anywhere in the world is convenient and safe with wire transfers. Domestic wire transfers usually occur within 24 hours, while international wire transfers typically reach the destination within 7 business days.
To send money using standard wire transfers, visit our nearest branch or call 608-232-5000 or 800-533-6773. Please refer to the instructions below to gather the necessary information.
Wiring Funds TO Your UW Credit Union Account
| The "sending" institution will need the following information. |

| Member Information: | Your full name, Address as it appears on your account, UW Credit Union Account Number |
Note: UW Credit Union does not have a Swift Code, IBAN or other international routing code, nor do we have a correspondent bank. You are able to wire funds
to your UW Credit Union Account without this information. Your international financial institution will have a corresponding bank in the U.S. they can wire to, which will
forward the funds to UW Credit Union using our ABA routing number: 2759-7907-6.
Wiring Funds FROM Your UW Credit Union Account
You must present a Class A ID to initiate wire transfer*.

ABA Number (domestic only),
Swift code or other international banking code,
Receiving Financial Institution's Address |
| Individual to receive wire: | Recipient's Name,
Recipient's Address as it appears on their account,

| Intermediary Financial Institution (if applicable): | Intermediary Financial's Name,
Intermediary Financial's ABA number (domestic only),
Intermediary Financial's Address,
Intermediary Financial's Account number at receiving bank |

Special Wire Requirements
All wires going to the UK require a 6 digit Sort Code, Wires to Canada must include an 8 digit Transit Code, Wires to France require a 27 digit IBAN number, Wires to Mexico must contain CLABE, Mexico's 18-digit account number.
These codes can be obtained from the Beneficiary's Bank.
Crediting of wired funds is based on the receiving institution's policy. Wires sent to UWCU are credited at 10 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM CST and by the end of each business day.
