UW Credit Union is believed to be the first financial institution in Wisconsin to offer Instant Issue credit cards. Now members can have a new or replacement credit card printed in-branch while they wait.

UW Credit Union today announced it had reached a definitive agreement to open a new branch at 2525 South 108th Street in West Allis, Wisconsin. The property will become UW Credit Union's fifth branch location in Milwaukee, and the 21st branch location in Wisconsin.

For the third year in a row, the Wisconsin Governor's Council on Financial Literacy has selected UW Credit Union as a winner of the Wisconsin Financial Literacy Award. This award recognizes individuals and organizations for excellence in promoting financial literacy among Wisconsin residents.

Today, UW Credit Union launched a Fixed Rate Private Student Loan for college students. This loan is designed to help students afford college expenses after they've exhausted their federal financial aid allotment.

UW Credit Union's branch at 3750 University Avenue in Madison is now open. This new location features the branch and Investment Services offices that were relocated from their 3500 University Avenue building.

Recently, the credit union added a new feature to their My Credit Score service called Custom Offers. With the addition of Custom Offers, credit union members are provided information regarding savings opportunities and ways they can refinance their existing debt when they log in to My Credit Score.

UW Credit Union has been confirmed as the top home purchase financing lender by the annual Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) data. This is the first time the federally published data has reported a credit union in top position for home purchase financing in the Madison Metropolitan statistical area.
