UW Credit Union to Offer the WHEDA Fannie Mae Advantage Mortgage (2/26/2010)
UW Credit Union is pleased to announce a partnership with the Wisconsin Home and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA), adding the WHEDA Fannie Mae Advantage mortgage program to its line of mortgage products. Available March 1, 2010, these WHEDA-backed loans will be available through UW Credit Union to qualified borrowers.

Mike Sauk Appointed to UW Credit Union Audit Committee (2/1/2010)
UW Credit Union’s Board of Directors appointed Mike Sauk, chief information officer of UW Hospital and Clinics, to serve on the credit union’s Audit Committee. The Audit Committee is responsible for taking a proactive role in monitoring and advising company management and outside auditors in conducting audits and safeguarding the overall financial reporting and internal controls process for the credit union.
UW Credit Union to Provide Giving Opportunity for Haitian Earthquake Relief (1/14/2010)
UW Credit Union is announcing a giving opportunity for members. Beginning today, members will be able to donate directly from their Web Branch accounts to the American Red Cross International Relief Fund in order to assist communities impacted by the January 12, 2010, earthquake in Haiti.
New Online Money Features Give Consumers More Control in New Year (1/6/2010)

Integrated into Web Branch, UW Credit Union’s online banking program, this free expense tracking and reporting tool is designed to help consumers better understand their spending.
UW Credit Union to Sponsor Madison College’s Win a Career Contest (11/25/2009)
Madison Area Technical College’s third annual “Win a Career” contest has an exciting new twist this year...it’s being sponsored by the UW Credit Union. Win a Career is a chance for new students to win a $6,000 scholarship at Madison College. Up to four runners-up will receive $1,000 scholarships.
UW Credit Union Wins State-Level Social Responsibility Award (11/19/2009)
UW Credit Union has won a state-level first place award and a nationwide honorable mention in the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Recognition Award Program. UW Credit Union was awarded the Dora Maxwell Award for an initiative implemented in 2008, in which they took a lead role fundraising for need-based scholarships for the six campus communities they serve.
