UW Credit Union Fitchburg Branch Opens May 29, 2009

Madison, WI – May 26, 2009 – UW Credit Union’s full-service Fitchburg branch opens Friday, May 29 at 6331 McKee Road (in the Orchard Pointe Shopping Center). The full-service branch includes drive-up lanes, surcharge free ATMS, safe deposit boxes, and convenient parking and bike racks for members. The branch was built using environmentally friendly resources that minimize its effect on the environment.

“We are committed to providing our members with convenient access to our consumer friendly financial products and services,” said President and CEO Paul Kundert. “We continually seek opportunities to expand our services and offer convenience to existing members, and to welcome new members to the credit union.”

Fitchburg is UW Credit Union’s 11th Dane County branch location, and the 3rd new location in the past year. “During a time when many consumers are anxious about their personal finances, we feel honored to have been sought out by 22,000 new members over the past two years,” stated Kundert.

Members will have access to consumer savings, checking and lending solutions. UW Credit Union’s Fitchburg location will also offer home loan and personal investment services. UW Credit Union is among the fastest growing home loan lenders in Dane County.
