New UW Credit Union Waukesha Branch is Now Open

April 16, 2012 – Madison, WI – UW Credit Union's newest branch opens today at 21215 East Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This full-service branch is the credit union's fourth Milwaukee-area branch, and twentieth branch location in Wisconsin.

As a member-owned financial cooperative, UW Credit Union's mission is to put the members' best interest first. "We are pleased to respond to member requests for an additional Milwaukee location that provides convenient service to the Waukesha and Brookfield communities," said Paul Kundert, President and CEO of UW Credit Union. "We continually seek opportunities to expand our services and offer convenience to existing members, and to welcome new members to the credit union."

The Waukesha branch includes drive-up lanes, surcharge-free ATMs and convenient parking. The credit union provides consumer financial services products including checking, all types of consumer loans, as well as mortgage lending products.

"This new location will provide our more than 8,500 members and University of Wisconsin alumni living in the area with added convenience and easy access to our consumer-friendly financial products and services," Kundert said.

UW Credit Union welcomed nearly 23,000 new members to the credit union in 2011, and will be opening its fifth Milwaukee-area branch in April 2013, at 2525 South 108th Street in West Allis, Wisconsin. Additional UW Credit Union Milwaukee-area branches are located in Glendale, Wauwatosa and on the UW-Milwaukee campus.
