UW Credit Union’s Branch in Sun Prairie Opens Wednesday, August 13

Madison, WI –UW Credit Union’s branch located at 250 South Grand Avenue (just north of Hwy 151 on County C) in Sun Prairie has opened today. Construction for the branch began in March.

“We are excited about the new possibilities created for UW Credit Union and our members with the opening of our new branch,” said Paul Kundert, President and CEO. “This branch offers a more convenient location to our existing members in the Sun Prairie, Windsor and DeForest communities and it also creates opportunities for new membership to people living in those areas.”

The full-service branch includes drive-up lanes, surcharge free ATMs, safe deposit boxes and convenient parking for members. Members will also have access to other UW Credit Union services such as:
*Consumer savings
*Checking and lending solutions
*Home loan services
*Personal investment services

“Our branch will be a nice addition to Sun Prairie’s growing west side community,” Kundert said. “We also used many environmentally friendly resources in the construction of the branch to minimize its effect on the environment.” All of UW Credit Union’s new branches follow Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design guidelines.

On Saturday, August 23 the Sun Prairie branch will host Family Fun Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. featuring a balloon artist, giveaways and ice cream. Some of the prizes include a bicycle drawing for children and drawings for $500, $250 and $100 Visa Gift Cards.
