1Complete Your Application

We'll review the application as soon as it's submitted.
2Certification Request Sent to Your School

We work with the student's school to get all paperwork completed. (12 business days on average)
3Final Truth in Lending Disclosure & Right of Rescission Period

After final documents have been signed, lending laws give borrowers an opportunity to reconsider. (3 business days)
4Funds Received & Processed by Educational Institution

We send funds directly to the school for processing. If there is money left over, the school will give it to the student. (7-10 business days)

Identification & Contact Info – Your Social Security number, driver’s license number, address, phone number and email
Employment Info – Your employer’s name and your annual salary
Cosigner’s Info – If applicable, you'll need to include your cosigner’s name and email address

Note: UW Credit Union does not currently offer student loans for career training programs including most short term-certificates, diplomas or other programs ineligible for financial aid. Your school needs to certify eligibility. Please contact us for further information if needed.
