While there continues to be concern nationally about the tightening of available consumer credit, UW Credit Union has money to lend and continues to help members access the credit they need at reasonable rates.

Mortgage Loan AdvancesIncreased 12% to $241 million
Credit Card & Unsecured Loan AdvancesIncreased 10% to $232 million
Educational Loan AdvancesIncreased 85% to $102 million
Home Equity Loan AdvancesUnchanged at $102 million
Vehicle Loan AdvancesIncreased 12% to $51 million

With the recent decline in 30-year fixed mortgage loan rates, we are assisting a record number of members lower their interest rate and in most cases, their monthly payment. In fact, in the past 90 days UW Credit Union has processed over 2,140 new mortgage loan applications.
