Vigo Transfers

Vigo was founded 20 years ago as a low-cost wire transfer alternative for international payment destinations. If you need to send money internationally, consider Vigo first. Most payments are made to beneficiaries within minutes. The reduced transfer fees can save you money, there is no cost for the receiver, and the receiver does not need a bank account in their country.

Vigo provides transfer service in 50 countries worldwide. Fees vary; for example, small transfers to Mexico are as low as $10. Vigo is well established in the Latin American and Caribbean regions, and has more than 48,000 payment locations around the globe.

To Request a Vigo Transfer

  1. Stop by our home office, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Requests must be in person.)
  2. Provide the recipient’s full name and address. (The recipient will need to show identification that exactly matches the name you specify.)
  3. Specify the amount you’d like to transfer from your account. Funds are delivered in the local currency, and in some cases can be converted to U.S. Dollars. Note: Large dollar transfers may not be available for all destinations.

Money can be sent to retail or convenience stores, and in some cases can be delivered to homes. You select a location from our list that is closest to the recipient.
