UW Credit Union to Open a New Branch in Fitchburg
We’re pleased to announce the opening of our newest branch at 2885 Fish Hatchery Road on October 21! This full-service branch is our 28th location in Wisconsin, and will make our services more convenient for residents in Fitchburg and the surrounding areas. To celebrate, we’ll be hosting a Grand Opening Celebration at the branch on November 14.
UW Credit Union Donations Support Our Communities
As part of our commitment to strengthen communities in which we live and serve, UW Credit Union has pledged significant support for initiatives in Dane County and Milwaukee. The credit union donated $150,000 to the United Way of Dane County’s Affordable Housing Fund, which helps create and sustain more affordable housing options. In addition, UW Credit Union has pledged $100,000 over the next three years to the UW-Milwaukee Life Impact Program, which supports adult students with children as they pursue higher education.
Foundation Wage Raised to $15.75
In September, UW Credit Union increased its Foundation Wage from $15 an hour to $15.75 per hour. Consistent with our core value to Respect People by treating each other with fairness and dignity, the Foundation Wage provides full-time and part-time employees with a sustainable income as they continue to deliver outstanding service to our members.
