UW Credit Union Opens New Berlin Branch May 7

New location marks the credit union’s seventh Milwaukee-area branch.

NEW BERLIN, WI - May 4, 2018 - UW Credit Union is pleased to announce the opening of its newest full-service branch in New Berlin, Wisconsin on May 7. The credit union’s seventh Milwaukee-area branch, located at 4850 South Moorland Road, provides access to consumer savings, checking and lending, as well as on-site mortgage and investment services. A grand opening celebration is planned from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on May 17. The event is open to the public.

Extending its presence in the greater Milwaukee area, UW Credit Union will provide the New Berlin community with state-of-the-art products and services, as well as financial education.

“Our expanded footprint in the greater Milwaukee area will offer members convenient access to innovative products and services, including consultations with knowledgeable financial professionals,” says Paul Kundert, UW Credit Union President & CEO. “Our physical presence in the New Berlin area will better serve existing and new members, providing comprehensive financial services to consumers. Equally important, this branch will have a dedicated space for financial education to serve the New Berlin area community.”  

The credit union serves more than 240,000 members in Wisconsin, with nearly 2,000 members in New Berlin and nearly 44,000 in greater Milwaukee.

“UW Credit Union is known for financial literacy efforts, and this new location will serve the community with a broad range of financial education seminars,” says Jaimes Johnson, Director of Community Partnerships. Featured topics will include: first-time home buying, budgeting, understanding how to use credit and investment services.

The New Berlin branch will increase UW Credit Union’s full-service branches in Wisconsin to 26 locations, with a network of over 100 surcharge-free ATMs. Area branches include Bayshore, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, West Allis and Milwaukee.
