What To Bring To Your Appointment

 

Email & Confirmation Appointment Requirements

We look forward to seeing you at your upcoming appointment at UW Credit Union.

Prior to your appointment, please review the list of documentation/identification you need to bring with you in order to open an account or complete an application at that time. If you are opening a joint account or loan, all individuals on the account need to be present at the appointment.

Checking Accounts

New Accounts or Adding An Account

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Know your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
  • If you have an ITIN, bring documentation (New Member Only)

Loans

Mortgage – Refinance or Purchase

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico.
  • Know your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
  • Your current residence address, or addresses, for the past two years.
  • Your employment history for the past two years.
  • Income information for all borrowers.
  • Bank and brokerage account information
  • If you own real estate, we'll need to know the address, current market value, the amount you owe, rental income you receive (if any), and what your monthly payment is.

Mortgage - Rapid Refi

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Know your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number

Vehicle Loans or Personal Loans

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Know your Social Security number or Tax Identification Number
  • If you have an ITIN, bring documentation (New Member Only)
  • If available, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), vehicle mileage, and title.

Home Equity Line or Loan

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Know your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
  • Insurance agent information

Private Student Loan

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID or Passport
  • Know your Social Security number
  • Contact information for nearest relative that doesn’t live at the same address
  • If refinance; current lender information and recent statement

Credit

Credit Card or Credit Consultation

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Know your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
  • If you have an ITIN, bring documentation (New Member Only)

Savings & Retirement

Savings, Certificate or Money Market

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Know your Social Security Number or Tax Identification Number
  • If you have an ITIN, bring documentation (New Member Only)
  • Opening Deposit*

Individual Retirement Account

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID or Passport
  • Know your Social Security number (New Member Only)
  • Beneficiary name, address, Social Security Number and date of birth

General Services

Account Servicing 

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico

Notary (Members Only Services)

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico

Signature Guarantee  (Members Only Services)

  • Valid ID: Driver’s License, State issued ID, Military ID, Passport, Resident Alien ID card (Green Card) or Matricula Consular of Mexico
  • Document verifying evidence of ownership and amount of the security (e.g. statement, stock certificate)

Safe Deposit Box Access
