Wealth Management at UW Credit Union has reached a significant milestone, surpassing $1 billion in assets under management.

This achievement reflects more than a decade of steady growth and the confidence members place in the organization as a financial partner.

“From funding an education to buying that first home or planning for retirement, our Here for Every You tagline says it all,” said Paul Kundert, UW Credit Union president and CEO. “Reaching this milestone underscores our commitment to supporting members across a wide range of financial needs – from everyday banking to more advanced planning and investment guidance.”

Launched more than two decades ago, Wealth Management at UW Credit Union reached its first $100 million in assets under management following a clear vision: to provide members with personalized, advisor-led financial guidance rooted in their best interests.

Today, it serves more than 5,000 clients and is supported by a team of 20 professionals, including 12 financial advisors in Madison and Milwaukee. The program’s growth reflects strong member relationships and a disciplined, long-term approach to financial guidance. Vice President of Wealth Management Teo Trandafir has overseen the Wealth Management at UW Credit Union services for the past decade

To celebrate the achievement, the Wealth Management at UW Credit Union team plans to host a series of open house events for members. These events will provide opportunities to connect with advisors, learn more about available services, and recognize the shared success behind the milestone.

As Wealth Management at UW Credit Union looks ahead, the focus remains the same: helping members feel confident about their financial futures – whether they’re just getting started, building momentum or planning what comes next.
