Card Security Features
Keeping your account information safe is our top priority. That's why we offer several different ways for you to protect and manage your credit and/or debit card. Learn more about what you can do in Web Branch and our Mobile App.
Mobile Travel Verification
Let our App help confirm your debit and/or credit card transactions when you travel. Mobile Travel Verification uses location updates sent by your mobile device to identify legitimate purchases.
This reduces the likelihood that your card will be mistakenly declined when you’re away on business or vacation.
Card Transaction Notifications
Stay on top of your account and get timely updates on your card activity with Card Transaction Notifications. Enroll and we’ll let you know each time your card is used to make a purchase.
This provides an added layer of card security to help you verify your transactions and identify potential fraud sooner.
Misplaced your card? Don’t stress – temporarily lock it.
Rest assured your account is safe while you take the time to locate your card. You can easily unlock your card at any time.
Want details on a purchase or transaction? No problem. Our easy-to-read format provides details on your pending and posted items. You can also search your history by any field such as category, label, description, date or dollar amount.
Additional Card Safeguards
Our cards come with chip technology, 24/7 fraud monitoring and zero liability coverage in the event your card information is compromised. If we see a suspicious transaction through our monitoring systems, we’ll contact you to verify that transaction. If it was unauthorized by you, we’ll block the transaction and reissue your card. You can also monitor your accounts using Notifications. Receive account updates, including custom notices – when it matters most to you. Account Security Features
We use the latest encryption technology to prevent anyone from intercepting or viewing your personal information. A secure website will list “https” instead of just “http” in the website URL.
While navigating Web Branch, you may be prompted to validate your identity with this system, which uses random, single-use codes delivered directly to you via phone, text message or authenticator app. This added layer of online security makes it substantially more difficult for a cyber thief to gain access to your accounts.
Web Branch Account Locking
Web Branch accounts are locked out after a set number of unsuccessful log-in attempts, which protects your private information from random password guessing. If your account has been locked out, please use the password reset form in Web Branch or contact us to have your password reset.
